DEAN HUJSEN : RIGHT FOR MADRID


Dean has signed a deal with Real madrid until the summer of 2030. He has completed his medical and set to join the rest of the squad for the FIFA club world cup

WHAT DOES HE BRING TO THE REAL MADRID SQUAD ?

Dean Hujsen has been honed in the art of defending in the cathedral’s of defending, Italy, specifically Juve and Roma. His best came in Bournemouth under Iraola. His defending has been good enough to earn him a contract at Real Madrid . He brings some help to a defense that has been in all honesty Shambolic , its Courtois's brilliance that saved Real Madrid from conceding eight or nine goals in many matches Dean Hujsen has proven himself to be a power house , a strong , good in the air , classy on the ball defender . He has the leadership qualities the Real defense desperately needs . 

DOES HE FIT AT REAL MADRID?

If Ancelotti was still here i would have said Dean Hujsen is not what’s needed , but maybe under Xabi Alonso the situation changes, Xabi Alonso played with three at the back with Jonathan Tah being in the centre . Dean Hujsen could be in for a similar role being a stalwart at the heart of Real Madrid  defense . Keeping the back line solid. 

SHORTCOMINGS

The Real Madrid defense just couldn’t keep pace with Barcelona’s fierce and brutal way of attacking and ended up getting ripped apart every time they faced them . Dean Hujsen lack of space can leave him susceptible to this . His huge height leaves him unbalanced against shifty defenders. Having Erratic and unreliable defenders like Raul Asenscio and TAA doesn’t help him either .

 PERSONAL OPINION 

How his Los Blanco's career pans out remains to be seen but one thing is for sure, he was a much needed signing and will definitely be useful to  Real Madrid’s title ambitions . he definitely offers some much needed solidity at the back.
