ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI : A LUXURIOUS CONUNDRUM

 ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI: A LUXURIOUS CONUNDRUM

Robert Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona is set to enter it's last year and there are still no reports of talk of contract renewal with Barca .

CLASS IS PERMANENT

Robert Lewandowski had a, by his standards, a horrible 2023/24 season. registering only 19 goals in the league and 27 goals in all competition . it may sound a lot of goals but remember only MESSI and RONALDO trump this man in CL goals and he has scored the most goals since 2020. He looked like he has finally reached the end of his career at the top but under flick he rejuvenated his career and was one the most lethal marksmen this season  and he scored 27 goals in the league and 42 in all competitions . he silenced his critics and showed class is permanent

WHAT'S THE FUTURE?

Robert lewandowski is 36 years old and still at the very top of his game and isn’t showing any signs of stopping. The big question is, can he keep going ? it is definitely something  to think about.  He will be  37 in a couple of months and if he isn’t firing the way he was this season then Barca will end up in trouble. It is very difficult for a top competitive club like Barca to keep a 37 year old striker that can stop scoring at any given moment and he is probably not going to get better than he already is .

THE RIGHT STEP

The best thing for barca is to see how Robert Lewandowski performs in until January and if he keeps performing then it will probably save Barca some financial trouble but Barcelona Definitely have to find someone to replace the goals Robert Lewandowski brings in the next summer whether it is through a high profile signing or maybe someone in the first team (yes i am talking about Ferran Torres ) or maybe even someone through La Masia . if there is  a position in the attack where Barcelona lack depth it is the at the spearhead of the attack.
